Tiny Little Hands Essay Example for Free
Tiny Little Hands EssayIt was like any early(a) night for Shelly Mason as she drove home from the office. Her journey took her through Black thwartwise Woods, the area where the infamous Black Cross murders took place. Legend had it that a man named Travis Burkton lured children into the woodwind instrument and murdered them brutally. However the police investigation was discontinued some twenty years ago and nobody was ever arrested. Shelly saw a passageway sign ahead, illuminated by the glare of her cars headlights, it read, You are now entering Black Cross Please drive safely. Shelly hated these roads and ever so feared crashing on them, due to the fact there was nothingness for a good two miles in any direction. The roads were thin and wound through the dark, wooden-headed woodland of Black Cross. The road was lined with tall fir trees on either side, which meant none of the light from the moon reached the dark, dark road. Despite the fact Shelly was dianoetic and st rong-minded, she always felt a little unnerved when driving on this road. Perhaps it was the legend that scared her blush thought she told herself it couldnt be true. She reached for a taping to listen to as she drove, that always relaxed her.The tape slipped out of her fingers and Shelly bent down to pick it up, keeping one hand on the wheel. When her head emerged she saw soulfulness on the road in front of her car. Shelly instinctively swerved to avoid hitting the figure on the road and her car jack-knifed across the road and smashed into a tree. Smoke rose from the buckled bonnet of the car and the passenger window bore a large crack. Shelly instantly thought about the person in the road and knew she should check if they were all right. She unbuckled her seatbelt and turned to get out of the car but screamed at what she saw.In the side window she saw the face of a childlike girl who looked no older that six, staring in at her. The girl eyes were wide and frightened and where her jawbone should be was a bloody void. Shelly frightened and backed away onto the passenger seat. The girl raised her bloodstained hands to the window of the car and rubbed them against the glass leaving tiny bloody fingerprints on the window. The slow stench of blood filled the cold car and Shelly knew she had to escape from this unnatural incident. Things she had heard about the Black Cross murders filled her head.People disappeared in these woods all the time, so people said, but Shelly hadnt believed them until now. She turned the key in the ignition to try and start the car again. The engine spluttered and groaned but refused to start she was trapped. Shelly looked at the road again, looking for the lights of the nearest down. They were far in the distance, at least a mile to walk to. As her eyes darted around she saw figures appear from the tree line on the other side of the road. They were walking slowly and as they grew closer Shelly realised they were all children. Each child had the same anxious features a bloody hole instead of a jawbone, wide frightened eyes and bloodstained little hands. Shelly was petrified, she put her head down and prayed. God answered her as she noticed her cell phone was on the floor of the car. She quickly grabbed it and keyed in 911 and cried to the operator to send a police car to Black Cross woods. The operator said that the car was on its way and Shelly felt a degree of safety. She kept her head in her hands and her eyes screwed up tightly until a knock on her window caused her to jump back. Her comfort came when she heard, Its alright maam, Im a police policeman. Shelly slowly opened her car door and stepped out into the cold, sable brush night. What seems to be the problem? questioned the officer. T-They was here, all around the car. Shelly replied shakily. Who was here, miss? Asked the officer Theres nobody on these roads except you. Shelly looked confused but was relieved they had left her alone. She was ev en more relieved when the police officer offered her a lift back to town. In the drive in the police car nothing unusual happened.Shelly told the officer what had happened to her that night but he seemed unwilling to believe her. When the car pulled up outside the station in the town, the officer asked Shelly to come inside. Shelly obliged of course and was appall to find that the officer wanted her to spend the night in a cell. Im not crazy she yelled, I am not making all this up Why wont you believe me? The officer stared at her for a moment then lead her to an empty cell. The cell was nothing more than a smallish room with a windowless steel door. Try and have some sleep miss, it is late.We can talk things over in the morning. Shelly sat in the corner of her palely lit cell and tried to forget the events of this night, but knew they would haunt her for a lifetime. As the thoughts ran through Shellys mind, the bulb in the room flickered and went out and in the fantasm she fe lt tiny little hands grasping at her throat. 10 trends for the next ten years Essay Example for Free
10 trends for the side by side(p) ten years EssayThe article discussed the 10 trends of Logistics management for the succeeding(prenominal) 10 years which affecting Supply Chain. Basically, which is said in the article, the logistics management should be take more integrated, technology supported, and talented needed. They also did a survey for the administrator group to rank the relevancy between the 10 trends and business operation. The executive group ranked the service chain, product clockspeeds, and micro segment as the highest relevance category, which is not surprising to me.More and more consumer is considering service as in-chief(postnominal), thus the fraternity should not only provide great product, but also digest an optimal service to satisfy the customers. An effective service chain ensures that the company stays in a competitive position. Moreover, clockspeed has great impact on contribute chain performance. A company with fast clockspeed supply chain pull up stakes have a competitive advantage in the market. Besides, a company actually should know who the target market is and what the target segment wants from them.As long as the company knows exactly who the micro segmentation is, they can be very successful to satisfy the customers needs. The purpose of this article is to show the 10 trends which result influence supply chain management for the next 10 years and the verity of the forecast trends. In other words, it demonstrates that what pass on be improved in supply chain and makes the supply chain much more efficiency than incessantly before. The ten trends are very inspiring and will definitely change the supply chain management for the next decade. According to the article, there is fierce arguing behind the scene. The company should be never satisfied with their performance otherwise the company will be substituted by any of its competitors.Basically, my career path is a work related to supply chain management and market ing in fashion appeal industry. I want to figure out a best way to distribute the product to the whole world at the same time so that bulkfrom all over the world can bed the most fashionable outfits. According to the article, the ten trends will definitely influence my career path to some extent.Firstly, when service chain become more important than product chain, my career goal will be changed from delivering the product on time to satisfying the customers both in pre- and post-sales. With my marketing major background, I will focus on customer relationship management to improve the service level. Besides, I totally agree with the trend that knowledge work and worker will become global in nature. Globalization is already formed for many years, and it is not surprising that logistics management goes with this trend.I will get my Logistics Bachelors degree in the U.S. and then go back to my hometown to find job. To some degree, I am one of the the great unwashed who get professio nal training in the U.S. and work at another country. In addition, the trend 5 mentioned in the article said that supply chain management will have a standard certification process similar to that for CPA. A standard certificate is necessary when a field of work has been well developed. More and more people will get to work in supply chain management therefore, the people who have SCM certification will be more competitive in the market.I should never stop acquiring knowledge of supply chain management in order to get the standard certification. Furthermore, we learned that segmentation and targeting, which helps company know who the customer exactly is and what to sell to those customer, are very important parts of marketing. Like segmentation in marketing, micro segmentation in logistics will be key to success. As long as we know what the customer really wants, we can create the product that can fulfill the needs of the customer.Technology, as well, will support a much more effect ive and cost saving supply chain. By using high technology, the company can better manage their inventory, customer orders, tracking and so forth. We future career will have to deal with technology every day based on the trends, and I am so excited approximately it because I cannot wait to see what the highly automatic supply chain looks like. I want to be the people who design the supply chain process and see how it will perform in the future. In conclusion, the ten trends for the next ten years will come true somedayin the near future. It brings in opportunities and challenges for both the company and the worker. As a logistics major student, I am so excited about the changes, and I realize that I have to take on more responsibility to make a difference for supply chain management.BibliographySengupta, S. The Topic Of Brain Fingerprinting Criminology Essay
The Topic Of sensation fingerprint Criminology Essay mastermind fingerprinting is based on purpose that the nous gene considers a unique brain wave pattern when a person encounters a familiar input Use of functional magnetic ringing imagingin guile light uponion derives from studies suggesting that personsasked to lie show different patterns of brain activity thanthey do when being truthful. Issues related to the use of such usher in courts be discussed. The author concludes thatneither feeler is currently supported by enough data regardingits verity in detecting deception to warrant use in court. In the field of criminology, a new lie detector has been developed in the United States of America. This is called brain fingerprinting. This invention is supposed to be the best lie detector avail sufficient as on date and is said to detect even smooth immorals who pass the polygraph trial run (the conventional lie detector test) with ease. The new method employs brain waves, wh ich be useful in detecting whether the person subjected to the test, remembers finer detail of the crime. Even if the person willingly suppresses the necessary information, the brain wave is sure to trap him. entranceway wizardry Fingerprinting is a controversial proposed investigative proficiency that measures recognition of familiar stimuli by measuring electrical brain wave solutions to words, phrases, or pictures that argon presented on a computer screen. mind-set fingerprinting was invented by Lawrence Farwell. The theory is that the peculiars reaction to the details of an event or activity will reflect if the comic had prior cognition of the event or activity. This test uses what Farwell calls the MERMER (Memory and Encoding Related Multifaceted Electroencephalographic Response) response to detect familiarity reaction. One of the applications is lie detection. Dr. Lawrence A. Farwell has invented, developed, proven, and patented the technique of Farwell Brain Fingerprin ting, a new computer-based engine room to identify the culprit of a crime accurately and scientifically by measuring brain-wave responses to crime- germane(predicate) words or pictures presented on a computer screen. Farwell Brain Fingerprinting has proven 100% accurate in over 120 tests, including tests on FBI agents, tests for a US intelligence government agency and for the US Navy, and tests on real-life situations including actual crimes. What is Brain Fingerprinting?Brain Fingerprinting is designed to particularize whether an individual recognizes specific information related to an event or activity by measuring electrical brain wave responses to words, phrases, or pictures presented on a computer screen. The technique can be applied precisely in situations where investigators catch a sufficient amount of specific information about an event or activity that would be known only to the culprit and investigator. In this respect, Brain Fingerprinting is considered a type of G uilty Knowledge Test, where the guilty party is expected to react strongly to the relevant detail animate (polygraph) procedures for assessing the validity of a mistrusts guilty knowledge rely on measurement of autonomic arousal (e.g., palm sweating and heart rate), while Brain Fingerprinting measures electrical brain activity via a fitted headband containing special sensors. Brain Fingerprinting is said to be more accurate in detecting guilty knowledge distinct from the false positives of traditional polygraph methods, but this is hotly disputed by specialized researchers.TechniqueThe person to be tested wears a special headband with electronic sensors that measure the electroencephalography from several locations on the scalp. In order to calibrate the brain fingerprinting system, the testee is presented with a series of irrelevant stimuli, words, and pictures, and a series of relevant stimuli, words, and pictures. The test subjects brain response to these two different types of stimuli allow the testor to determine if the measured brain responses to test stimuli, called probes, argon more identical to the relevant or irrelevant responses. The technique uses the well known fact that an electrical signal known as P300 is emitted from an individuals brain approximately 300 milliseconds after it is confronted with a stimulus of special significance, e.g. a rare vs. a common stimuls or a stimulas the prOband is asked to count. The novel interpretation in brain fingerprinting is to look for P300 as response to stimuli related to the crime in oral sex e.g., a murder weapon or a victims face. Because it is based on EEG signals, the system does not request the testee to issue verbal responses to questions or stimuli.Brain fingerprinting uses cognitive brain responses, brain fingerprinting does not depend on the emotions of the subject, nor is it affected by emotional responses. Brain fingerprinting is fundamentally different from the polygraph (lie-detector), wh ich measures emotion-based physiological signals such as heart rate, sweating, and blood pressure. Also, unlike polygraph testing, it does not attempt to determine whether or not the subject is lying or telling the truth.Four phases of Farwell Brain FingerprintingIn fingerprinting and desoxyribonucleic acid fingerprinting, evidence recognized and collected at the crime scene, and preserved properly until a suspect is apprehended, is scientifically compared with evidence on the person of the suspect to detect a match that would place the suspect at the crime scene. Farwell Brain Fingerprinting works similarly, except that the evidence collected both at the crime scene and on the person of the suspect (i.e., in the brain as revealed by electrical brain responses) is informational evidence rather than physical evidence. There are four stages to Farwell Brain Fingerprinting, which are similar to the steps in fingerprinting and DNA fingerprinting1. Brain Fingerprinting Crime Scene essay Collection2. Brain Fingerprinting Brain Evidence Collection3. Brain Fingerprinting Computer Evidence Analysis and4. Brain Fingerprinting Scientific Result. In the Crime Scene Evidence Collection, an upright in Farwell Brain Fingerprinting examines the crime scene and other evidence connected with the crime to identify details of the crime that would be known only to the perpetrator. The expert then conducts the Brain Evidence Collection in order to determine whether or not the evidence from the crime scene matches evidence stored in the brain of the suspect. In the Computer Evidence Analysis, the Farwell Brain Fingerprinting system makes a mathematical determination as to whether or not this specific evidence is stored in the brain, and computes a statistical confidence for that determination. This determination and statistical confidence constitute the Scientific Result of Farwell Brain Fingerprinting either information present the details of the crime are stored in the brain of the suspect or information absent the details of the crime are not stored in the brain of the suspect.Applications foreclose terrorismBrain fingerprinting can befriend address the following critical elements in the fight against terrorism1 Aid in ascertain who has participated in terrorist acts, directly or indirectly.2 Aid in identifying trained terrorists with the potentialto commit future terrorist acts, even if they are in a tie-up cell and have not been active for years.3 Help to identify people who have knowledge or training in banking, finance or communications and who are associated with terrorist teams and acts.4 Help to determine if an individual is in a leadership post within a terrorist organization.Brain fingerprinting technology is based on the principle that the brain is central to all human acts. In a terrorist act, there may or may not be peripheral evidence such as fingerprints or DNA, but the brain of the perpetrator is always there, planning, executing, and recording the crime. The terrorist has knowledge of organizations, training and plans that an innocent person does not have. Until the invention of Brain Fingerprinting testing, there was no scientific way to detect this fundamental difference.Brain Fingerprinting testing provides an accurate, economical and timely solution to the central problem in the fight against terrorism. It is now possible to determine scientifically whether or not a person has terrorist training and knowledge of terrorist activities. With the Brain Fingerprinting system, a significant scientific breakthrough has now become a practical applied technology. A new era in gage and intelligence gathering has begun. Now, terrorists and those supporting terrorism can be identified quickly and accurately. No longer should any terrorist be able to evade evaluator for lack of evidence. And there is no reason why an innocent individual should be falsely imprisoned or convicted of terrorist activity. A Brain Fingerprin ting test can determine with an extremely high degree of accuracy those who are involved with terrorist activity and those who are not.Criminal justiceA critical job of the criminal justice system is to determine who has committed a crime. The key difference between a guilty party and an innocent suspect is that the perpetrator of the crime has a record of the crime stored in their brain, and the innocent suspect does not. Until the invention of Brain Fingerprintingtesting, there was no scientifically valid way to detect this fundamental difference.Brain Fingerprinting testing does not prove guilt or innocence. That is the role of a judge and venire. This exciting technology gives the judge and jury new, scientifically valid evidence to help them arrive at their decision. DNA evidence and fingerprints are available in only about 1% of major(ip) crimes. It is estimated that Brain Fingerprinting testing will apply in approximately 60 to 70% of these major crimes. The impacts on the criminal justice system will be profound. The potential now exists to significantly improve the speed and accuracy of the entire system, from investigations to parole hearings. Brain Fingerprinting testing will be able to dramatically cut off the costs associated with investigating and prosecuting innocent people and allow law enforcement professionals to concentrate on suspects who have verifiable, detailed knowledge of the crimes.MedicalBrain Fingerprinting is the patented technology that can measure objectively, for the prototypal time, how memory and cognitive functioning of Alzheimer sufferers are affected by medications. First generation tests have proven to be more accurate than other routinely used tests, and could be commercially available in 18-24 months. The 30 minute test involves eroding a headband with built-in electrodes technicians then present words, phrases and images that are both known and unknown to the patient to determine whether information that should be i n the brain is palliate there. When presented with familiar information, the brain responds by producing MERMERs, specific increases in neuron activity. The technician can use this response to measure how quickly information is disappearing from the brain and whether the drugs they are taking are slowing down the process.Additional ApplicationsIn advertising, Brain Fingerprinting Laboratories will offer significant advances in measuring campaign and media effectiveness. most(prenominal) advertising programs today are evaluated subjectively using focus groups. We will be able to offer significantly more advanced, scientific methods to help determine the effectiveness of campaigns and be very cost competitive with current methodologies. This technology will be able to help determine what information is actually retain in memory by individuals. For example, in a branding campaign do people remember the brand, the product, etc. and how do the results vary with demographics? We will excessively be able to measure the comparative effectiveness of multiple media types. In the insurance industry, Brain Fingerprinting Laboratories will be able to help reduce the incidence of insurance fraud by determining if an individual has knowledge of fraudulent or criminal acts. The same type of testing can help to determine if an individual has specific knowledge related to computer crimes where there is typically no witness or physical evidence.Case studiesThe biggest breakthrough, according to Farwell, was its role in freeing convicted murderer Terry Harrington, who had been serving a life sentence in Iowa State Penitentiary for killing a night security guard in 1977. In 2001, Harrington requested a new trial on several grounds, including conflicting testimony in the original trial.Farwell was faced with an immediate and explicit problem 24 years had passed since the trial. Evidence had been presented and transcripts published long ago the details of the crime had long si nce come to light. What memories of the crime were left to probe? just now Farwell combed the transcripts and came up with obscure details about which to test Harrington. Harrington was granted a new trial when it was discovered that some of the original police reports in the case had been missing at his initial trial. By 2001, however, most of the witnesses against Harrington had either died or had been discredited. Finally, when a key witness heard that Harrington had passed his brain fingerprinting test, he recanted his testimony and the prosecution threw up its hands. Harrington was set free.In Macon County, Mo., Sheriff Robert Dawson learned about the method from his secretary, who had in like manner seen it featured on television. In 1999, Dawson ordered a test on J. B. Grinder, accused of raping and murdering a 25-year-old woman. Grinder had admitted and denied the allegations so galore(postnominal) times that, according to Dawson, We didnt know what to believe anymore. Co nfronted with the test results, which seemed to confirm one of Grinders many confessions, Grinder pled guilty to the charges and also admitted to killing three other girls in Arkansas. When another murder investigation ran into problems earlier this year, Dawson turned again to brain fingerprinting. He refrained from discussing the details of the case with the suspect and with the media so that the P300 probes would be valid. While the suspect denied knowing anything about the case, Farwells test suggested otherwise.Comparison with other technologiesConventional fingerprinting and DNA match physical evidence from a crime scene with evidence on the person of the perpetrator. Similarly, Brain Fingerprinting matches informational evidence from the crime scene with evidence stored in the brain. Fingerprints and DNA are available in only 1% of crimes. The brain is always there, planning, executing, and recording the suspects actions.Brain Fingerprinting has nothing to do with lie detecti on. Rather, it is a scientific way to determine if someone has committed a specific crime or other act. No questions are asked and no answers are given during Farwell Brain Fingerprinting. As with DNA and fingerprints, the results are the same whether the person has lied or told the truth at any time.Admissibility of Brain Fingerprinting in courtThe admissibility of Brain Fingerprinting in court has not yet been established. The following well established features of Brain Fingerprinting, however, will be relevant when the question of admissibility is tested in court. 1) Brain Fingerprinting has been thoroughly and scientifically tested. 2) The theory and application of Brain Fingerprinting have been subject to peer review and publication. 3) The rate of error is extremely low virtually nonexistent and clear standards governing scientific techniques of operation of the technology have been established and published. 4) The theory and practice of Brain Fingerprinting have gained ge neral acceptance in the relevant scientific community. 5) Brain Fingerprinting is non-invasive and non-testimonial.Record of 100% AccuracyAt the time of this first field application, Dr. Farwells successes in the scientific laboratory with his invention were already well known. In collaboration with FBI scientist Dr. Drew Richardson, Dr. Farwell achieved 100% accuracy in using Farwell Brain Fingerprinting to identify FBI agents based on their brain responses to words and phrases only an FBI agent would recognize. Tests conducted by Dr. Farwell for the US Navy in collaboration with Navy LCDR Rene S. Hernandez, Ph.D., also resulted in 100% accurate results. In research on contract with a US government intelligence agency, Farwell Brain Fingerprinting achieved 100% accuracy in proving the presence or absence of a wide variety of evidence stored in the brains of individuals involved in over 120 cases. Dr. Farwell has published extensively in the scientific literature and presented his r esearch to many scientific and technical audiences throughout the world . Farwell Brain Fingerprinting has been subjected to rigorous peer review under US government sponsorship, and has been found scientifically viable as well as revolutionary in its implications.ConclusionBrain Fingerprinting is a revolutionary new scientific technology for solving crimes, identifying perpetrators, and exonerating innocent suspects, with a record of 100% accuracy in research with US government agencies, actual criminal cases, and other applications. The technology fulfills an urgent need for governments, law enforcement agencies, corporations, investigators, crime victims, and falsely accused, innocent suspects.

The prophet muhammad and the environment
The prophet muhammad and the surroundAs inhabitants of this world, human beings argon constantly interacting with our environs and the effect is that the environ handst is changing. immediately it seems beyond neither the human control nor even the footf wholly ment of modern technologies. The environmental protection agencies, enormous institutions, organizations and ecologists all told allplace the world ar do their maximum attempt to preserve the environment exclusively unfortunately the environment degenerates day by day to a horrible state. The whole world is chthonian the threat of Global Warming and Oz unmatchable Depletion. What Ca personas Global Warming And Oz bingle Depletion?Scientists have determined that a number of human activities argon contri mere duplicity to global melt by adding excessive amount of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases like one C dioxide accumulate in the atmosphere and trap heats which may gradually exit in to outsid e space. Scientists tell that Deforestation is the very significant source of greenhouse gases be slip when the trees atomic number 18 fewer in number, on that point is little carbon dioxide con adaptation to the oxygen. Human use of fossil fuels is in like manner the source of excess greenhouse gases. When the greenhouse gases grow, much heat will be trapped in the atmosphere and bum less back to the space. Because of these, the climate changes and the weather structure alters which definitely hastens species extinction and ad versely affects the length of seasons worldwide. It will cause the coastal flooding and lead to more support and severe storms to a fault.According to the current statistics, since 1970 more than 30 per cent of natural species have been destroyed. Consumption of natural resources and carbon dioxide emissions have both doubled oer the last 40 years and continue to grow at an incrementd rate. Most of the countries have projected to lose more than 10 per cent of their forests over the next few years. Toxic chemicals which ar mostly the emissions from the industrial sectors are widespread in the environment and nearly 10 per cent disease is caused by environmental pollution. The natural calamities like flood, earthquake, tsunami, and storm have increased unparalleled in history. Most of the world regions are counted to be the earthquake or new(prenominal)wise calamities pr peerless areas. Epidemic diseases like AIDS, SARS, Bird flue dominate one by the other over the public health. Even though the hospitals, health check institutions and medical colleges numerically increase they all become mute spectator to the steady deterioration of public health. The death caused by this kind of disastrous epidemic diseases increase in a horrible situation.A build-up of man-made chemicals in the atmosphere causes ozone depletion. The main chemical is CFCs (Chlorofluro carbon) that are used in refrigerants and aerosol spray propellants. CFCs are easy to store, chemically stable and non- flammable hence they float in the atmosphere. They rise for about 8 years until they reach the ozone layer and they will be broken at there by large amount of ultraviolet illumination radiation. CFCs contain one Fluorine atom, one Carbon and three Chlorine atoms. When ultraviolet radiation and CFCs work chemically the Chlorine atom is free and it can continue to destroy 100,000 of ozone molecules. If the atmosphere is cold the effect will be too worse. Scientists could find out that it has been very cold in the stratosphere in the last few years. Modern occupationcrafts transportation and supersonic airplanes also contri scarcelye to ozone depletion by lay some toxic chemicals in to the atmosphere. A nonher man-made chemical, which also causes ozone depletion, is methyl bromide. It has been used in m either different pesticide applications since 1932. It is regarded to be 50 times more destructive to the ozone layer than CFCs.Many A M ischief Done By MenThe sanctum rule book undoubtedly points out-Mischief has appeared on area and sea because of that the hands of men earned (30 41)Here the Holy Quran warns men that if they trespass on and overexploit vote out and water the overall outcome would be too unfavourable.Imam Fakru Rrazi narrates this quranic verse as-The epidemic infections, draughts, flood etc are meant by the usage of Holy Quran Fasad i.e. mischief has appeared on land and sea (Thafseerul Kubra)So the increasing natural calamities must be the requital and outcome of mens activities of misusing the natural resources. The creation of Almighty GOD tout ensembleah is perfect. Allah says You can see no fault in the creations of the most beneficent. Then look again. Can you see any rifts (67 3)So the Holy Quran asserts that whatever the change the nature turns to is non its own, but the results of mens activities. visionaryic Jurisprudence Of Environmental ProtectionThe Almighty GOD Allah has created every thing in this universe in due proportion. No one can find out any faults in Allahs creation. All the creatures from the tiny microbes to large living living organisms and all the materials from tiny particles of molecules to the largest galaxies are in due measure both quantitatively and qualitatively. The whole universe is open to men to use for his benefits but non to misuse or trespass natural rules. This Islamic basal concept toward the environment is revealed by this Quranic verse-Have you not seen that divinity is glorified by all in the heavens and on the earth such as the birds with wings outspread? Each knows its worship and glorification, and theology is aware of what they do. (An-Noor 24 41)The Holy Quran says There is not an animal(prenominal) in the earth, or a flying creature flying on two wings, but they are communities like you We have neglected nothing in the restrain Then unto their passkey they will be gathered (Al- An-aam- 6 38)This Quranic verse describes that Allah did not miss any thing that is important for a meaningful existence. All the living organisms in the environment, they are also communities like human beings having the business of life in this earth. So, the basic and first concept ofProphetic Teaching towards environment is that all the living and non-living things in the earth are created by GOD in due proportion and divine object. All other living beings are as communities as human beings, so they also have the right to live in this environment.Secondly, Islam gives men the right to use the natural recourses for his use.The Holy Quran says He Who has spread out the earth for you and threaded roads for you therein and has sent down water from the sky With it have We brought forth diverse kinds of vegetation. extinguish and pasture your cattle verily, in this are signs for men endued with understanding. (Surathu Twaha- 20 53)According to this verse the environment including of all its living and non living creatues are created by God for mens benefits only.Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has taught that earth is subservient to man, but it should not be misused, overexploited or abused. This is the third concept of Prophetic teachings towards environment. This concept basically forms environmental protection or solution to the environmental problems.Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) saysThe earth has been created for me as a mosque and a means of purification (Swaheehul Bukhari- 1 331)Land and water that are created by God in due proportion for the benefits of men must be regarded to be sacred. Prophet Muhammad (s) emphasizes that earth is not only a pure entity but purging agent also. By informing men that the earth is sacred land, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaches men to keep the land always clean and tidy.Environmental Cleaning wiz of the reasons for global heating system is that the environment is being treated as dump for ache disposal. And as a result pollution is increased everywhere. Land, wate r and air have been polluted with toxic or non toxic hazardous waste from the towns, buildings, factories and houses. The land, air, rivers and seas provide dumping grounds for the waste, which can be environmentally too harmful. The environment is able to absorb some types waste up to certain levels of emissions. Beyond that level environmental pollution is likely to accelerate. As wastes grow, so environmental adulteration is also most likely to grow at a faster rate. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH0 had put forward a preventive measure for the environmental protection, that is carry out cleanliness of nature.Allah says in Holy QuranVerily, Allah loves those who turn to him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. ( 2 222). Islam pass ons purification a responsibility of men.Prophet Muhammad (PBUH0 has taughtPurification is fractional part of Islamic belief (Swaheehu Muslim H.No 432)Prophet Muhammad(s) mentioned purification in general, which includes the purif ication of body internally and externally and his environment also. All kinds of purification are the responsibilities of true believers. According to this Hadeeth, Islamic belief (Eeman) of a person can not be regarded to be perfect without due cleanliness in his body and purlieu too. Purifying human bodies by ablution or ritual bathing benefit him to prevent many infections that are caused by virus or bacteria. Purifying the nature prevents environmental pollution.Responsibility Of EnvironmentWho has the responsibility of the environment? Is the God responsible for it? Or the environment itself is responsible? Or those who have the right to use all natural resources for their use are responsible? Definitely, according to Islamic concept, those who are living and use the nature are responsible for nature.Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has taughtEvery one of you is guardian and will be asked about his subject (Swaheehu Muslim)Prophet Muhammad (s) was very strict that men should handle eve ry thing on this earth with limited care. If man is much aware of his responsibility of environment, he cannot disfigure and spoil the resources available in the nature. The Prophet was becoming increasingly sensitive when he was travel with his Swahaba and he was telling Do not encroach on the trucks on the habitats of these wild beasts and animals, you are to share the earth with themOverexploiting Natural ResourcesAnother reason for the global warming and all other environmental problems is that men overexploit the natural resources. Allah the Almighty has taught in Holy Quran obviously that the earth and resources are for the benefits of men, but it should not be overexploited. The land provides us food, mines, quarries and oil come up provide us with fuels and raw materials, forests provide us wood, and seas provide us with fish. Allah has given the right to extract raw materials for production process and to cultivate crops, vegetables and fruits for mens use, but the same t ime He has prevented men to use these resources by extravagance. This Islamic rule also forms as a preventive measure for the environmental problems. The Almighty Allah saysAnd it is He Who produces gardens trellised and untrellised, and datepalms, and crops of different shape and taste (its fruits and its seeds) and olives, and pomegranates, similar (in kind) and different (in taste). Eat of their fruit when they ripen, but pay the due thereof on the day of its harvest, and waste not by extravagance. Verily, He likes not Al-Musrifoon (those who waste by extravagance). (Al-Anaam -641)Allah says in another verse in the similar meaningO Children of Adam Take your adornment firearm praying and going round the Kabah, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allah) does not like Al-Musrifoon (those who waste by extravagance). (Al-Araf- 731)These Quranic verses clearly encourages men to use several fruits, crops and other natural resources and prohibits men to waste there of.Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has told that Allah hates extravagance.Narrated Ash-shabi Al mugheera wrote I heard the Prophet motto Allah has hated three things 1- vain talks that you talk too much or about others. 2 Wasting of wealth by extravagance, 3- and asking too many questions (Muslim H no 591)Conservation of waterWater is a impart from God and source of all life in earth. Conservation of this vital element is very important to the preservation and existence of life in its various(a) forms. The Holy Quran points outAnd We have made from water every living thing. (2130)Consider the water which you drink, Was it you that brought it down from the rain cloud or We? If We had pleased, we could make it bitter (56 68- 70)And we caused rain to descend on you from heaven to cleanse you therewithAllah reminds men the value of water through these verses. Allah has made the use of water a common right of all creatures. So all living and non living creatures are entitled to use and share it without monopoly, wastage, extravagance and despoilment.Prophet Muhammad (s) lived in the recant environment where water was very synonymous to life. Though the two third of the globe is filled with water many regions, countries and communities all over the world are detriment from the lack of water. The water levels in rivers go down so as a result the water level in the nearby wells goes down and people face the difficulty to get the water both for their life and multinational purposes.Narrated Jabir (R) Prophet Muhammad (s) has prohibited passing urine in standing(prenominal) water (Swaheehu Muslim, Riyalu Sswalheen H.No 1772)Prophet Muhammad (S) strictly prohibits taking more water than necessary. Making ablution by washing more than three times is considered as Karaha i.e. discouraged by Islam. Even if you are making ablution from a large water reservoir, or from a flowing spring or near to river you must not get by water to wash a particular part of body more tha n three times. Prophet Muhammad (s) perceives it as extravagance. Any human activity that impairs the structural and biological smooth functioning of water, whether by misusing or lavishing or polluting it with urine or any other dirty substances is really against the Prophetic law of preserving environment. The root cause of environmental problems is the reckless behavior of men by polluting the nature that would definitely make it unsuitable for his use. So man is baited against man. The Prophetic teachings not to pass urine in stagnant water and to lavish drops of water even for making ablution ultimately form a splendid methodology to preserve the water that all other ecologists, scientists, and environmental protection agencies have been seeking for a methodology theoretically sufficient and pragmatically effective to preserve the environment.Treatment of AnimalsProphet Muhammad (PBUH) believed that animals, as indispensable part of the environment, should be treated with digni ty and complaisance that they merit. He had considered camels and horses courageous companions during his journeys and battles. So prophetic teaching basically has enjoined up on men right environmental relation ship with animals. It is not allowed in Islam to kill animals except for food, but in some slipperinesss only some animals can be killed when they endanger the human life.Islam allows hunting but it must be for the necessity. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) could not put up with unnecessary hunting of any animals.Ibnu Masood said We were traveling with Prophet Muhammad (s), when he left us for while we could see a bird with its two chicks and we too the chicks. Then the beget bird started spreading its wings. When Prophet(S) came and truism this, he said who caused her to take away her two children, return her two children to her (Bukhari Muslim)Prophet Muhammad(s), more than any other ecologist, has realized the feelings of relation amidst mother and children birds that is why he reacted when he saw the feelings of mother bird.Narrated Hisham bin Zaid Anas and I went to Al-Hakam bin Aiyub. Anas saw some boys shooting at a tied hen. Anas said, The Prophet has forbidden the shooting of tied or confined animals. (Swaheehul Bukhari- Book 67, hadith 421)Another HadeethNarrated Ibn Umar that he entered upon Yahya bin Said while one of Yahyas sons was aiming at a hen after tying it. Ibn Umar walked to it and untied it. past he brought it and the boy and said. Prevent your boys from tying the birds for the sake of killing them, as I have heard the Prophet forbidding the killing of an animal or other living thing after tying them. (Swaheehul Bukhari- Book 67, Hadith 422)Prophet Muhammad (s) has prohibited killing some animalsNarrated Abdulla Bin Abbas The Prophet Muhammad (s) prohibited to kill four creatures ants, bees, hoopoes, and sparrow hawks. (Sunan Aboo Davud- H. No 5247)Prophet Muhammad (s) teaches that there would be a reward for from Allah for servi ng any animals.Narrated Abu Huraira Allahs Apostle said, While a man was walking on a road. he became very thirsty. Then he came across a well, got down into it, drank (of its water) and then came out. Meanwhile he saw a dog panting and licking mud because of excessive thirst. the man said to himself This dog is suffering from the same state of thirst as I did. So he went down the well (again) and filled his shoe (with water) and held it in his mouth and watered the dog. Allah thanked him for that movement and forgave him. the people asked, O Allahs Apostle Is there a reward for us in serving the animals? He said, (Yes) there is a reward for serving any remediate (living being). (Swaheehul Bukhari book73, Hadith 38)This Hadeeth gives us unique lesson. He understands the thirst of dog and tells that it also has the same set of thirst I had. The way that he has poured the water in to dogs mouth is certainly a unique one that we can not see same sort of way to deal with any animals any where in the history nor in the modern practices of preserving nature.Narrated by AhmadIf you kill a sparrow senselessly, it will hasten to God on the Day of Judgment, and it will say Oh Lord so and so killed me for play not for use (Mishakathul Masabeeh)These Prophetic words reflect the reverence, respect and great love to the animals.According to Prophetic teachings, killing an animal without giving food, drinks, or even by disturbing it will cause a man to go to Hellfire.Narrated Ibnu Umar Prophet Muhammad (s) said- A woman she tied a cat has gone to Hellfire she neither fed it nor allowed it to find food of its own. (Bukhari Muslim, Riyalussaliheen- H.No 1600)Through these Hadeeths, Prophet Muhammad (s) prohibited killing or disturbing any animals. He rears men to be kind towards all living beings in the earth.Allah, the great and omnipotent, will do his mercy to those who do their mercy (towards the living beings in the earth). So do mercy to every living being in the ear th, then Allah and his angels will do the mercy towards you (Bukhari Muslim)This is a broad concept of treating the animals. any(prenominal) men can do to treat and protect animals, that are considered to be mercy and Allah will give his rewards for that. Not only physical harm to animals but smearing or cursing animals is also prohibited by Prophet Muhammad (s).Imran bin. Husain reported We were with Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) in some of his journeys and there was a woman from the Ansar riding a she-camel that it shied and she invoked curse upon that. Allahs Messenger (May peace be upon him) heard it and said unload that and set it free for it is accursed. Imran said I still perceive that (dromedary) walking amongst people and none taking any notice of that. (Swaheehu Muslim Hadith. No 6276). This prophetic concept not to curse or insult an animal is almost very humane perspective. According to Quranic lesson a human must not curse another human, this is because the di gnity and respect of the men are highly considered. Similarly, the indispensable role of animals in this environment is something great and they too perform their functions in the nature. As they do their role in here, they also deserve their dignity. So any animal must not be cursed. In Islam, to slaughter an animal Muslims have to use sharp knife in order to save the animal the pain associated with the use of an object. Prophet Muhammad (s) used to tell his companionsShaddid bin. Aus said Two are the things which I remember Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said Verily Allah has enjoined goodness to everything so when you kill, kill in a good way and when you slaughter, slaughter in a good way. So every one of you should sharpen his knife, and let the slaughtered animal die comfortably. (Swaheehu Muslim, Hadith 4810).Prophet Muhammad (S) teaches Muslims to consider the psyche of an animal to be slaughtered. The hadeeth usage And let the slaughtered animal die comforta bly is almost a very natural perspective toward the pain and sufferings of an animal. Prophet Muhammad (s0 has constituten great sensitivity and gentleness. Throughout his life, many hadeeths and incidents obviously show that He was extremely sensitive toward the sufferings of animals. That is why he recommended using sharp blades and an easy method in order to the animal can die apace with as little pain as possible. He has also prohibited slaughtering an animal in the presence of another animal and sharpening the blade in the ensure of the animal which is to be slaughtered. If you let the animals witness the sharpening of your blades, according to Prophetic teachings, it is almost similar to slaughter the same animal twice.Ibnu Abbas reported A man has unbroken a sheep laid down while he was sharpening his blade. Then the Prophet told Would you like it to die twice? Why didnt you sharpen your blade out front lying it down? No other religions, isms or any other social leaders too can put forward this kind of noble ideology of extreme sensitivity to the feelings and sufferings of an animal. In short, prophetic environmental teachings recommend to consider the animals as indispensable part of ecology. So it must get the dignity and respect that it deserves. Men must be sensitive an all dealings with animals, no matter whether it is to be slaughtered or not. Through his example of sharpening knife in calculate of animals He teaches men to consider the feelings of animals. If had practiced the Prophetic ideology to protect the environment through preserving animals, we would have overcome the horrible situation of global warming and all other environmental degradation up to an extent.Planting a treePlants are an integral part of the environment. one of the reason for global warming and other environmental problems is that the plants have been lost all over the world due to human activities and as a result carbon dioxide absorption has been diminish more t han 30 per cent within the last 50 years. If you have a means to plant a tree, start digging is the instruction instantly given by the ecologists to preserve the nature. Plants Absorb carbon dioxide and give off the oxygen during the photosynthesis time. A single plant would be able to absorb one ton of carbon dioxide approximately during its life time. Many an infections and disastrous diseases too are becoming increasingly widespread very faster than ever before because of that a large amount of poisonous carbon dioxide is left in the atmosphere unabsorbed. This will adversely affect the immunity of the human body also. Those who resign no stone unturned in getting the environment preserved can really appreciate the greatness of prophetic teaching of plant a tree.Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying Never a Muslim plants a tree, but he has the reward of charity for him, for what is eaten out of that is charity what is stol en out of that, what the beasts eat out of that, what the birds eat out of that is charity for him. (In short) none incurs a los k to him but it becomes a charity on his part. (Swaheehu Musli- Hadith No3764)Another hadeethJabir bin . Abdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported I heard Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) saying Never does a Muslim plant, or cultivate, but has reward for him for what the beasts eat, or the birds eat or anything else eats out of that. (Muslim Hadith no3766)This holy Hadeeths not only comprise of the vital important of planting a tree, but also the very structural and biological inter relation of plants, birds, human and other animals. In the second Hadeeth, the usage to cultivate is very important regarding with the preservation of all kinds of cultivations. According to the meaning of this Hadeeth, who ever does some thing to preserve the environment, he will certainly get the charitable reward from the creator of environment. Planting a tree is not only benefited for contributing fruits or seeds but for the carbon dioxide absorption also, which in turn purifies the whole living atmosphere.Prophet Muhammad (s) prohibits cutting and destroying trees.Narrated Hassan ibn Ibrahim I asked Hisham ibn Urwah about the cutting of a lote-tree when he was leaning against the house of Urwah. He said Do you not see these doors and leaves? These were made of the lote-tree of Urwah which Urwah used to cut from his hand? He said There is no harm in it. Humayds version adds You have brought an innovation, O Iraqi He said The innovation is from you. I heard someone say at Mecca The Apostle of Allah (peace_be_upon_him) cursed him who cuts a lote-tree(without justification). He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect. (Sunan Abudavud Hadith No5221)Another hadeeth can be read like thishe who cuts a lote-tree (without justification), God will commit him to Hellfire. Those people who cut the trees just for some celebration s and festivals, those countries that destroy forests for the sake of competing development, and those institutions and industries that wipe out plants for their temporary purposes must think about the prophetic teachings of environmental protection. They must understand that what ever they are doing for the sake of industrialization will finally turn to be harmful to their own development.Dont contribute to your own remainderAllah the almighty saysDont make your own hands contribute to your own destruction, but do good only, for Allah loves those who do good (Holy Quran- 2 195)Through this verse Allah prohibits men doing any activity which in turn will contribute to his own destruction. Researchers could find out that about 80 percent of tobacco users will get cancer or some other diseases. Islamic scholars then have given the Fathwa that tobacco consumption is prohibited in Islam according to this verse. Same is the case with environment also. Allah prohibits men destroying anima ls and plants, and polluting water, land and air through this verse. Because these all can contribute to the destruction of human being as well as the environment. predictive TEACHINGS AS ENVIRONMENTAL ETHICSProphet is the pioneer of environmental preservation. The words like conservation of water, ecology, environmental awareness, sustainability etc can be seen in many Quranic verses and Holy Hadeeths. He taught that the natural resources are created by God Allah for mens use. The same time, men dont have any right to overexploit or misuse these natural resources. One of the reasons for environmental problem is that the scarce resources of nature are overexploited. Industrialization has done a major role in this. Prophetic lesson only can crop these problems. Whoever extracts raw materials, oils, and mines, who ever cultivate vegetables and fruits and who ever take water and all must be aware of prophetic environmental ethics that it should not be misused or rather overexploited. This is the only way to protect our limited natural resources.Secondly, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has given the responsibility of environment to men. He will be asked about his nature also. We can not see this seldom explored ideology in any other religions or scientific books. If men had thought about his responsibility of all the living and non-living creatures in his surroundings, most of the species would have had lived here and the whole environment itself would have left tidy and suitable to use.Prophet Muhammad (s) had taught not to pollute water, air and land. He also had taught the way how to treat animals and to plant trees as many as possible. From these noble environmental ethics, we can realize Prophet as a great ecologist, scientist and pioneer of environmental protection when scientific outfits and innovations were nothing. Hence, those who spend a lot for environmental protection must take into grudge the noble ethics of prophet Muhammad(PBUH), and do the best to be practiced every where. The whole ecological harmony and biological relations that the prophet Muhammad (S) advocated between human and his nature has today almost lost. As the whole world is under the great threats of many kinds of natural calamities and these are basically caused by pollution, over exploitation, desertification, animals destruction and deforestation, it is the exact time for the whole world community to think about it seriously and find out the best effective environmental ethics to be practiced. Definitely the sound and effective environmental ethics are lying in the noble teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So, let the world community as a whole take a leaf out of the Hadeeths and find out the solutions for current environmental crisis.References1- Holy Quran2- Swaheehul Bukhari3- Waheehu Muslim4- Sunan Aboo Davud5- Mishakathul Masabeeh6- Riyalu swaliheen7- Complete biology/ W.R Pickering/ Oxford8- Biology in Action/ Poole, Pikley, Johnson/ HBJ9- The Facts on File Dictionary of Biology/ Elizabeth Tootil/ Oxford10- Islamic Sciences/ S.Waqar Ahmed Hussain/ Good word Books11- Muhammad A Mercy to all Nations/ Al haj Qasim Ali Jairazzbhoy12- Economics/ john Sloman/ fifth edition/ prentice Hall13- www.searchtruth.com

A sociological explanation of suicidal behaviour
A sociological exposition of suicidal behaviourThe kind facts surround us everywhere and affect our lives. To begin with, the brotherly fact is a single, accessiblely signifi domiciliatet event or a set of homogeneous events that atomic number 18 typical for some areas of social life, or specific to certain social processes. The main attributes of the social facts are their independence, objective existence, and their coercive nature, i.e. an ability to exert the external pressure on the individual. It is a collective representation of the facts or a collective consciousness. The social facts are a course of actions, ways of thought and feeling that exist outside the individual (i.e. objectively). These factors possess the normative coercive force feed in relation to him/her. Into the acknowledgement of the above stated information about social facts it is necessary to add that according to Faraganis (2000), by a social fact, Durkheim (as a person who defined the social fact in sociology) is referring to facts, concepts, expectations that come not from individual responses and preferences, but that come from the social community which socializes each of its members. Although we might take in the normative community look and share its determine, we are constrained by its very existence. The main purpose of this work is to reveal a sociological explanation about a social fact. Among different social facts, it is possible to emphasize the pathological social fact associated with the social problems, which is called self-destruction. The term suicide is related to the social fact because it is a single public event, typically for one or another sphere of real life. The suicide rate is one of the most significant sociological exponents of the societys well-being. Global science has been already established that the act of suicide accumulated a number of the factors social, economic, political, philosophical, psychological, and religious. The rate of suici de in Canada is historically same to or slightly higher than in the USA. Around 3800 suicides occur in Canada each year.Suicide is a deliberate act of removal from life low the influence of acute traumatic situations in which life itself loses its meaning for humans. dangerous can be called any external or internal activity, sent by a desire to take his/her own life. People who deplume suicide usually suffer from a severe mental pain or are under stress and a sense of inability to cope with their problems. They often suffer from mental illness, curiously major depression, and look ahead without any hope.Suicidal behavior is the suicidal activitys manifestation that includes the suicide attacks, attempts and manifestations. Thus, a situation when death is caused by people who may not be aware of their actions or guarantee them, and as a result of a persons negligence are not related to suicide, but to the accidents. There are three main types of suicidal behavior true suicide, e pideictic suicide and hidden suicide. The true suicide is never spontaneous, though sometimes it looks quite unexpected. Such a suicide is always preceded by depressed mood, depression, or just thinking about leaving this life. Sometimes, even the closest people do not notice this persons condition ( particularly if you frankly do not want it). It is obvious that in many cases true suicide is a result of prolonged depression. And any depression is characterized by a accent on past, not the future. The man on the verge of true suicide somehow appeals to the past, clinging to it, but cannot find the picture of own future. Therefore, the risk group for suicides includes teenagers and gray people. The main part of the suicides is nothing but an attempt to engage in dialogue only, of course, thats so unique and totally unsuitable for this method. Most suicides usually do not want to die, but they kill themselves only in order to reach out to someone, pay attention to their problems, to c all for help. The psychiatrists often call this phenomenon demonstrative suicide. Researchers stated that pr contributesity to demonstrative suicide sometimes seen as a specific way of manipulation. The hidden suicide is the destiny of those who understand that suicide is not the most dignified way to solve the problem, but nevertheless other way again cannot be found. These people do not choose an open withdrawal from life on their own, but they choose so-called due to suicidal behavior. For example, this is risky driving behaviors, exercises in extreme sports or dangerous business, and bid trips to hot spots, and even drug addiction.Among the major problems of ultramodern Suicidology, the most relevant problems are the features of suicidal behavior associated with alcohol and drugs, the role of family and loneliness factors in the genesis of suicidal behavior and the problem of mental disease and suicide. In any suicide situation, there are usually two operating entities the per son who is thinking about suicide and his/her surroundings, or a specific person with whom he or she somehow tries to establish a dialogue. The increased suicide risk factors can be divided into extra-and intrapersonal. Extra personal suicide risk factors include psychosis and borderline mental disorders suicidal statements, repeated suicidal acts post suicide adolescence extreme, especially so-called marginal living conditions loss of prestige conflict traumatic situation drunkenness, drug use. Intrapersonal suicide risk factors can be identified idiosyncrasies lessen tolerance to emotional stress and frustrating factors inadequacy of communication systems inadequate (overstated, understated or unstable) self-esteem lack or loss of targets or values underlying the basis of life, and so forthThere are the features of suicide, which include the desire to be alone is natural and normal for every person. But beware, when closed, the isolation pay off deep and long, when a person with draws into himself, eschews the former friends and allies. Each of us is naughty from time to time. This condition can be caused by weather, well-being, fatigue, office or family problems, etc. But when a persons mood almost every day varies between the excitation and decay, there is cause for alarm. There are strong evidences that these emotional fluctuations are the harbingers of death. Depression is a deep emotional decline, which is showed in everyone differently. Some people become isolated, but at the same time, they disguise their feelings so well that it is inconceivable to notice the changes in their behavior. The only way in such cases is a plow and open conversation with a man. This is a proven fact that a lot of acts of suicide are caused by anger, rage, and cruelty to others. An absence or, conversely, abnormally increased appetite are closely linked to self-destruction thoughts and should always be considered to be a criterion for the emf hazards. In addition to the above-mentioned information, it is necessary to add that alcohol and drug use disorders have been found to be strongly related to suicide risk (Ilgen, et. al, 2011).People, who plan their suicide, hand out their own things to family, friends, or relatives. As experience shows, this sinister campaign is a direct forerunner of a coming disaster. In each case, it is recommended to have a serious and frank conversation with that person in order to clarify the intentions of potential suicides. The reasons for suicide are complex and numerous. The reasons can be sought in biological, genetic, psychological and social spheres of a person. Despite the fact that people usually commit suicide in extreme situations, such as divorce, loss of work or study, most experts suggest that it is rather a reason to commit suicide than its cause. Most people who kill themselves suffer from depression, which often goes undiagnosed and untreated. Since depression often underlies suicide, the study of the c auses of depression can help scientists to understand the causes of suicide. About 90% of suicides occur in persons with a clinically diagnosable psychiatric disorder (Tondo, et. al., 2011).Despite the fact that some studies suggest that suicides of famous people can play an exemplary role model, especially among teenagers, this point of view is not fully proven. However, there is some evidence that the famous peoples suicides can be a aright incentive to others suicides, especially among those in the range of 13 to 19 years. In addition, the causes of teen suicides are poverty, family kindreds and with their peers, alcohol and drugs, unrequited love, experienced in childhood abuse, social isolation, mental disorders, including depression, schizophrenia, and so on. The number of suicides among young people has increased over the last decade. It is not superfluous to mention that early marriages do not survive young people (aged 15-19) from the risk of suicide. This is primarily d ue to the fact that young marriages are more likely an attempt, not always successful, to solve some other, misrelated to marriage problems, for example, get rid of the unbearable situation in family.Taking everything into account, it is possible to conclude that suicide is the result of the personalitys social psychological disadaptation in modern society. Psychological crises arise as a result of the intimate, family and personal, social and creative conflicts. In order to avoid the manifestation of suicidal behavior, it is necessary to provide people, especially teenagers with social support by including family, school, friends, etc. It is useful to carry out socio-psychological training issues, provide individual and group lessons to raise self-esteem, development of an adequate relationship to self, empathy, to increase self-control, replacement of significant others, to develop the motivation in order to achieve success. It can be based on the behavioral skills trainings.

JOE FOSS PAGEJoe Foss was born in 1915 to a Norwegian-Scots family in South Dakota. He learned hunting and marksmanship at a young age. Joe Foss was inspired by Charles Lindbergh, especially after he saw Lindy at an airport near Sioux Falls. Five historic period later he watched a Marine squadron put on a dazzling exhibition, led by Capt. Clayton Jerome, future wartime Director of Marine Corps Aviation. In 1934, Joe began his college education in Sioux Falls, but he had to drop out to help his mother run the family farm. However he scraped up $65 for private flying lessons. Five years later he entered the University of South Dakota again and supported himself by waiting on tables. In his senior year he also completed a civilian pilot training program before he graduated with a Business degree in 1940. When he graduated he enlisted in the Marine Corps reserves as an aviation cadet. Seven months later, he earned his Marine wings at Pensacola and was commissioned a second lieutenant. For the bordering nine months he was a "plowback" flight instructor. He was at Pensacola when he was notified about Pearl Harbor, and since he was Officer of the Day, he was placed in iron boot of base security. Thus he prepared to defend Pensacola from Jap invaders, riding around the perimeter on a bicycle. He was then ordered to the sprightly photographers school and assigned to a VMO-1, a photo reconnaissance squadron. But he insisted he wanted fighter pilot duty, even after macrocosm told he was to old at the age of 27. After lengthy lobbying with Aircraft Carrier Training Group, he learned all about the new F4F Wildcat, logging everywhere 150 flight hours in June and July. When he finished training, he became executive officer of VMF-121. Three weeks later, he was on his way to the South Pacific, where Americans were fighting t change the momentum of the war. Arriving in the South Pacific, VMF-121 was loaded aboard the escort carrier Copahee. The Metamorphosis of Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol Essay
A Christmas Carol, a tale that revolves around a mans fate in thepast, the present, and the future. Its story speaks of a man, a mancalled Ebenezer Scrooge, and the changes in which he goes through.Oh But he was tight-fisted man at the grindstone, Scrooge asqueezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, covetous old sinner Hardand sharp as flint, from which no steel had eer struck out generousfire secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster. The coldwithin him froze his old features, nipped his pointed nose, shrivelledhis cheek, stiffened his gait make his eyes red, his thin lips blueand spoke out shrewdly in his grating voice. A frosty rime was on hishead, and on his eyebrows, and his wiry chin. He carried his own lowtemperature always about with him he iced his office in the dog-days,and didnt thaw it one point at Christmas. This description describes Scrooges character brilliantly, it is onthe second page of the novel and immediately hits you. I feel thatCharles Dickens could not have described his character any better. Inmy opinion the last sentence has great relevance to the story and hisattitude towards all things merry, especially Christmas his ownlow temperatureand didnt thaw it one degree at Christmas. Scroogeis a very cold-hearted, spiteful man, he is never cheerful or in anyway nice to anyone. The only bulk who he at the very least enduresor respects are men of great importance or wealth, but also his fellowbusinessmen. It would be easier to get blood out of a stone than toget Ebeneezer Scrooge to be merry Hard and sharp as flint, fromwhich no steel had ever struck out generous fire Scrooge has nowish to spend his time with anyone o... ... upthe resulting change in Scrooge He became as good a friend, as gooda master, and as good a man as the good old City knewSome good deallaughed to see the alteration in him, but he let them laugh, So wesee that Scrooge was indeed saved from the terrible fate that wouldhave other inevitably destroyed him. A nd also became a modelcitizen, who mended the error of his ways, strived for good and becamea man with no burdens. Except, the burdens of his loved ones and theless fortunate.Works Cited Dickens, Charles. A Christmas Carol. Classics of Childrens Literature. Ed. washbowl W. Griffith and Charles H. Frey. 3rd ed.
